Use a Test Procedure That Supports New Batteries

Check the manual before interpreting an electronic analyzer's result. Some instruments distinguish between a regular battery test and a new-battery test. Where a Battery Load Tester Fits

High-current testing also produces heat. Use the exact operating and cooling limits in your tool's instructions, and never repeat tests continuously to chase a better result.
